Dear Winter –
Well, you arrived early this year – October! – and dumped all of your belongings on us in 30 inches of fluff. Then you packed up your bags and ran away. Spring has been flirting with us in your absence, so I guess it was only a matter of time before you decided to return. You’ve given her the boot for (we hope!) one last fling and what a fling it is.
But you won’t be here for long. And – I’m so glad of it.
Because Spring will be back by next week, bringing fifty degree temps with her.
I can’t wait. Nice seeing you again, Winter. Come again in December.
(In the mean time, hurry home, Spring. March on in!)
