I’m thankful for the jobs that my husband and I have, that we aren’t like the many who have been job-searching for months on end. Even so, this song hit home the first time I heard it on the radio while driving to work one morning. Just two years ago, hours and jobs were cut at the plant in my old home town, from the factory to the office. Thankfully, things have turned around for the plant and hours and jobs have been restored. Just that little taste, however, was enough.
My job isn’t perfect and it’s often stressful – but I’m so thankful that I’ve been blessed with a job and a paycheck every week.
